Maintlogs provides storage and retrieval of digitized FAA-legal maintenance logbooks. The program provides for back-to-birth scanned maintenance records stored and backed up in the cloud to be used as searchable working copies, permitting the original logbooks to be archived in a secure place for safe keeping.
New logbooks are used to continue the normal logbook entry process, which are periodically scanned. There is no change to the normal maintenance entry process. This way the original logbooks are secure and are always accessible. If the logbooks are requested for review, for example when the airplane is for sale, the logbooks can be made available temporarily to a prospective buyer.
The digitized and searchable logbooks save time and money by making the logbooks easy to review and find essential information.
A standard license is $59 per month or $599 per year. Discounts are applied for annual payments, multiple aircrafts, and those only requiring circular advisory compliance.
When you download the app, the system will show you how to scan each page of the logbooks, and categorize the maintenance entries. If that is too much of a burden, a back-to-birth scanning service is available to do it for you.
You can use the free version to test out all the features for a 30 days. After that you can choose a monthly or annual subscription.
